Hal Jordon & John Stewart Confirmed For ‘Green Lantern Corps’?

While news on DC Comics upcoming reboot of the Green Lantern series have been minimal at best; some news has emerged. Many have wondered if we would get Hal Jordan once again after Ryan Reynolds failed attempt at the character back in 2011. Some thought once Chris Pine entered talks to join the DC Expanded Universe he would be the fan-favorite for Hal but alas he became Steve Trevor. So some thought they might just go head and use John Stewart as the next Green Lantern much like Justice League: Limited used his character.

Now a new report has come out from Cinefilos Italy claiming a small DC featurette was shown at a local conference that confirmed that both Hal Jordon and John Stewart will headline the upcoming Green Lantern Corps movie:

Now suspects that Hal Jordan and John Stewart can be deployed together in the film DC / Warner become more concrete following the panel Warner during the Professional Days of Cinema of Sorrento. The event was shown a featurette of the universe DC in progress to the movies and among other things we have seen a concept of the Green Lantern Corps in which stood out clearly the two characters. That may be the final clue?

This would line up with a article a few weeks ago from JoBlo that claimed Green Lantern Corps would be a “buddy space cop” movie in the likeness of Lethal Weapon. Green Lantern is also not expected to appear until the end of Justice League: Part 1 but that has yet to be confirmed…

Green Lantern Corps will in in 2020
