Marvel and Freeform’s Upcoming Series ‘Cloak & Dagger’ Expected To Debut in Winter 2018

Earlier this year Marvel along with ABC announced that an upcoming teen-drama superhero series Cloak & Dagger was headed to their sister channel Freeform. Not much is known about the series beside that it will be a teen love drama centered around a Caucasian female and African-American male with special abilities. Something that should resonate now in this day and age with many mixed couples.

Then, everything went quite on the series until The Hollywood Reporter announced today that showrunner Joe Pokaski was doing a complete rewrite of the pilot script. They even go onto reveal that Marvel isn’t going to move forward with the project until later on with a possible Winter 2018 release date. Hopefully, we might hear of some potential casting later on next year. Maybe even have thew actors cameo in The Runaways show on Hulu first before crossing over onto their own show?
