Several days ago we at Omega Underground learned that Tom Cruise upcoming sixth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise will use the production title Gemini throughout filming.  This will also bring back director Chris McQuarrie as well.

We’ve now spotted new information that production is expected to begin April 1st in France (Paris), New Zealand (Wellington?), and the United Kingdom.

McQuarrie has mentioned that the next installment will delve more into Ethan Hunt’s personal backstory than any other film before. Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner are expected to return along with Vanessa Kirby in talks for a new role.
