Casting Call and Ryan Fleck Teasing Carol Danvers Scenes In ‘Avengers 4’?

A new casting call possible for Avengers 4 has made its way to Omega Underground (along with various casting sites) and is seeking actors to play “military officers”. Although, it’s not made clear which branch of the military these folks will be playing. We’re convinced this might be for the fourth installment rather than Infinity War due to it shooting on August 28th and Infinity War wrapping last week.

Here is the listing below.

MILITARY OFFICERS – Men who appear between early 30’s – early 50’s, any ethnicity, in good physical shape, to portray military officers of various rankings. Must have short hair or be willing to get a military haircut. NO Facial Hair! Military experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Filming will be Monday, August 28, 2017, with a mandatory fitting the week of August 14th- must be available for both. NEW FACES ONLY, you must not have worked on this film previously.

We normally wouldn’t think too much of a listing like this because of the previous presence of the military in Marvel films. However, Captain Marvel co-director Ryan Fleck (directing with partner Anna Boden) posted this image of a United States Air Force training school recently on his Instagram account yesterday. Suggesting possible research or location scouting.

This leads us to believe that they could be helping the Russos scout locations for Brie Larson‘s scenes or possibly a flashback to her early days in the Air Force. We’ve seen almost all of the Marvel directors on set during the production of Infinity War, so getting input from Ryan and Ann isn’t a big leap to make. Also, Danvers is an officer.

As far as we know Brie Larson hasn’t shot her scenes for Avengers: Infinity War. If this is indeed connected to Danvers this could actually be when Larson catches up with her Infinity War scenes.

Of course, this is just our own speculation for the moment.
