Riverdale spinoff and Sabrina The Teenage Witch reboot, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (working title) recently jumped from airing on The CW to Netflix as the streaming giant grabbed it up for a two-season order with each season getting 10-episodes.
The series is expected to take a darker tone similar to its cousin series Riverdale and possibly some stories/characters from the recent “Chilling Adventures” comic book run.
Sabrina is now being fast-tracked for an extensive shoot in Vancouver which will begin sometime next year.
Omega Underground previously revealed a heap of audition tapes for ladies vying for the role of Sabrina Spellman. Some of those candidates included Bekka Walker and Aussie theatre actress Maggie McKenna among many many others.
Now, we’ve exclusively uncovered four gentlemen auditioning for the role of Sabrina’s high school sweetheart Harvey Kinkle. The upcoming series is now auditioning L.A./Toronto actors such as Zachary Roozen (pictured), Joey Defore, Ivan Nedeljkovic, and Luke Bilyk to play Harvey.
While the role of Sabrina seemed to be open to all ethnicities Harvey only has white actors auditioning, so far.
The new Sabrina series is expected to drop sometime in late 2018 on Netflix.
