Valkyrie Confirmed For ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ As Tessa Thompson Is Spotted In Scotland

There’s been speculation who will show up in Avengers: Infinity War from the other Marvel films as we recently learned that The Guardians of The Galaxy members have mostly shot a bulk of their scenes already.

Omega Underground previously posted a casting call that included a potential early cast list from December, which included a majority of characters that have been confirmed since along with being the first to mention Karen Gillan‘s Nebula was in the film and how it’s expected new addition Brie Larson‘s Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel should be appearing as well.

Another batch of characters are indeed coming from Thor: Ragnarok as we’ve seen fans like Caroline Kemp help confirm that both Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo are currently in Edinburgh, Scotland shooting scenes.

Now, another Scottish fan Fahr Sindram has posted an image (first spotted by Omega Underground) with Valkyrie actress Tessa Thompson all but confirming the actress will be in the film as well, as she was spotted out and about in Scotland too.

We have no idea the scale of her role but in the comic books, she’s both an Avengers and Defenders (alongside Strange, Hulk, and Namor) member. There has been speculation on our part her role in the MCU would be expanded post-Ragnarok.

Given that we now have three cast members from Thor: Ragnarok confirmed it might be only a matter of time before Cate Blanchett is announced/spotted. We’ve suspected that Hela is most likely taking the role of Death in the MCU and would make a great villainous team-up with Josh Brolin’s Thanos.
