‘Mega-City One’ Concept Art Suggests A More Futuristic City Than Seen In ‘Dredd’

Two pieces of Judge Dredd: Mega-City One concept art has been released online via our friends over at IGN. It’s interesting to see this artwork deviate slightly from what we saw in Dredd concerning the massive city scape.

The main take away is that we could end up seeing flying cars and vehicles, along with more high tech. Something that was lacking in Dredd, but made the film slightly more grounded from it’s Sly Stallone counterpart. It’s ambitious, to say the least.

Increased effects mean a costly budget, hopefully, this doesn’t mean this could put off potential buyers due it’s level of special effects needed.

Karl Urban recently reaffirmed his commitment to the role and stated that he’s having discussions about returning to the series. However, nothing has been made official and the project has yet to find a home.
