Disney’s Christmas Flick ‘Nicole’ Shoots October-January In Vancouver

Vancouver has become Hollywood North and Disney is getting on the Canadian production train with their upcoming Christmas movie.

Two local sources have confirmed that Disney holiday flick Nicole starring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader (in talks) as siblings will be filming this fall and winter in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Nicole will be written and directed by Marc Lawrence (Miss Congeniality).

Production is expected to begin filming on October 23rd and will wrap on January 19th.

Kendrick plays the daughter of Santa Claus, Nicole Claus and Hader is expected to play her brother.

The story revolves around Santa’s daughter, presumably the titular Nicole, who is forced to take over the family business when her father retires and brother ends up getting cold feet prior to his first big Christmas Eve flight.

Currently, the film is without an official release date.
