James Gunn Reaffirms 2020 Release For ‘Guardian of The Galaxy 3’

Well, it looks like we have an idea when we’ll see Guardians 3 released. James Gunn has teased again on Facebook that it will on its way in three years, alluding to it being released sometime in 2020.

“In a little under three years.”

He said the same thing back in May.

“Thank you so much, my Facebook friends, for supporting me over the past two and a half years, and thank you for all the messages letting us know we’ve keyed into the frequency of your hearts. I love you all, and I’ll continue being here with you over the next three years as we create Vol. 3.

It remains to be seen what the third installment will ultimately look like. Original Guardians lineup could make a return which includes cast members Sly Stallone (Stakar Ogord), Michelle Yeoh (Aleta Ogord), Ving Rhames (Charlie-27), Michael Rosenbaum (Martinex), and Mylie Cyrus (Mainframe).

We do know that Ayesha and Adam Warlock will play a role.

Marvel Studios has slated a release date for May 5th, 2020 which feels like a smart bet to make is being held for Guardians 3.
