UPDATE: ‘Halloween’ Begins Shooting In South Carolina This Month

We have a production update concerning David Gordon Green‘s new Halloween aka Night Blade.

Originally, the Blumhose project was listed as shooting in Lousiana but that has been since updated thanks to a new production listing stating it’ll now shoot sometime this month in South Carolina.

We suspect production will take place in the Charleston area and could wrap sometime in mid-December.

Jamie Lee Curtis is confirmed to return as Laurie, while we’ve uncovered a string of audition tapes that revealed Blumhouse is still aiming to use teens in the film.

Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

John Carpenter will produce the film and is expected to provide the film’s score as well.

Halloween is set for release on October 19th, 2018.
