‘Captain Marvel’ Indeed Begins Filming This February In LA

Originally, Marvel Studios had been planning on filming Captain Marvel in Atlanta this January until it was revealed they were moving production to California due to new tax incentives in the state. Along with Atlanta becoming a very crowded filming destination for big films.

Now, a new production listing has revealed that February will indeed be the month of the production start on the cosmic film. Marvel’s Kevin Feige had suggested a February start a while back.

Kevin Feige has confirmed that Samuel L Jackson will be returning as Nick Fury for the film set in the 1990s which will cover some of the Kree-Skrull War mythology.

Rogue One’s Ben Mendelsohn has been reportedly in talks to play the main Skrull villain of the film.

Captain Marvel is set for release on March 8th, 2019.
