Tessa Thompson Teases ‘Silver and Black’ Director Should Make ‘Valkyrie’ Movie

Thor: Raganrok’s breakout role obviously was Tessa Thompson‘s Valkyrie and there has already been suggestion from Tessa of an A-Force type all-female MCU film. Kevin Feige has confirmed the group of Marvel actresses have approached him about an all-female MCU film.

Now, it looks like Silver and Black director Gina Prince-Bythewood is keen on seeing Valkyrie get her own solo movie mentioning this on Twitter. In response, Thompson adding to the praise asking if she’d like to direct this hypothetical spinoff movie. Gina also recently directed episodes for Marvel TV’s Cloak and Dagger series, so she does have a foot in the door at Marvel.

Silver and Black is expected to begin shooting sometime in winter-spring of 2018, with it’s release date set for February 8th, 2019. So, in theory, Marvel would have to allow her to finish things up first.

Should Marvel make a solo Valkyrie movie?
