Amalgamated Dynamics Returns To Tackle Creature Effects For ‘It: Chapter Two’

A couple days ago, Omega Underground revealed that production on Andy Muschietti‘s It: Chapter Two would be returning to Toronto next year and specifically at Pinewood Toronto Studios, along with Port Hope, Ontario.

Bill Skarsgard is confirmed for a return, but we haven’t had confirmation about any of the adult actors expected to be cast in the film.

However, there’s an extremely good chance we’ll see Jessica Chastain cast as Bev.

A new tidbit we’ve learned is that the creature design/effects team from the first film will be returning as concept artist Aaron Sims along with the talented practical effects company Amalgamated Dynamics, headed up by effects legends Tom Woodruff Jr. and Alec Gillis.

We’re expecting a summer or fall shoot next year.

It: Chapter Two has been set for release on September 6th, 2019.
