‘Han Solo’ Star Woody Harrelson Joins Sony’s ‘Venom’

Even though filming on Sony’s upcoming Non-Spider-Man spin-off movie Venom began months ago more casting has been revealed. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that War for the Planet of the Apes & Han Solo star Woody Harrelson has joined the cast. Which includes Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock along with Riz Amed and Michelle Williams. The reports mention that Harrelson is playing henchmen but with such a high-profile name joining the cast it must be for something else than simple henchmen.

Also, over the weekend at CCXP in Brazil star Tom Hardy revealed that the movie would be taking inspiration from the Lethal Protector storyline. This was what we at Omega Underground speculated the movie would be based on after it was announced production would take place in San Fransisco.

Venom hits theaters October 5th, 2018
