Gambit is looking towards its production in the new year. We previously revealed key production crew members such as cinematographer Bojan Bazelli (The Ring, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Spectral) and production designer Jess Gonchor (No Country For Old Men, True Grit, Live By Night).
While we’re still waiting on official casting announcements and confirmations, we do have another crew addition to share. Omega Underground has learned that Thomas Robinson Harper has joined Gambit as the film’s stunt coordinator.
Harper previously worked with director Gore Verbinski on The Lone Ranger.
Thomas is best known for his work on Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2, Godzilla 2, Pacific Rim Uprising, and The Jungle Book. He’s also worked on the Marvel shorts Agent Carter and All Hail The King.
As we previously reported Gambit is expected to begin filming sometime this March in New Orleans.
Fox has given the X-Men spinoff the release date of February 14th, 2019.
