‘Get Out’ Writer-Director Jordan Peele Eyeing Summer Shoot In Vancouver For Next Film

During an interview with HollywoodReporter, writer-director Jordan Peele revealed his untitled thriller for Universal Pictures would begin filming sometime in 2018.

“I am currently writing it, and I’ll direct for Universal this year,” he said. “I’m just trying to entertain myself again.”

Well, we’ve learned that the studio hopes that filming will begin this summer and should shoot in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.

Peele shot Get Out in the state of Alabama.

Details on the project are scarce but when casting ramps up we’re likely to start getting plot points. We’re excited to see Jordan continue to make original films.

Get Out beside being a box office hit earning $255 million on budget of $4.5 million, has landed four Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Director.

Universal has given the film the release date of March 15th, 2019.
