‘Godzilla vs Kong’ Battling Soon – Begins Shooting This Fall In Atlanta

Last year, we revealed that Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs Kong would be returning to Atlanta, Georgia sometime in 2018. And we have an update to share.

Omega Underground has learned that filming is expected to begin on October 1st and will wrap around February of next year. This would give Adam and his team plenty of time before the effects-heavy film’s 2020 release date.

Our reporting last year revealed accurate production dates for Godzilla 2.

We’re unaware when casting will begin but we previously reported that Wingard will be reuniting with production designer Tom Hammock (The Guest, Blair Witch) on the kaiju crossover.
