‘Guardians 3’ Possibly Eyeing Early 2019 Production Start In Atlanta

Our friends over at ThatHasghtagShow, has word when we can expect to see the next big Marvel film begin production.

They have learned that James Gunn’s Guardians of The Galaxy 3 is aiming for an early 2019 production start in the Atlanta area. The first film shot in the United Kingdom, but it’s sequel moved to Atlanta. Gunn is very active on social media, so it’ll be interesting what he has to say about this news.

Hashtag also makes an educated guess that this could suggest that Guardians’ release could be the one slated for May 1st, 2020. Possibly making it the first MCU release of 2020.

It’s still very early on the project and there hasn’t been word if Gunn is even starting to assemble his crew. Marvel has yet to officially announce Guardians 3’s release date.

Details have been null, but there has been an expectation from Gunn’s previous comments that the Guardians lineup will be altered and could leave an opening for Adam Warlock.

Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow is another film we’ve assumed will be ready for release in 2020.
