‘Jurassic World 3’ Coming June 2021 – Emily Carmichael and Colin Trevorrow To Write

Universal isn’t wasting any time moving forward on the next installment in the Jurassic World franchise as a third film has been announced. The studio has revealed their plans via HollywoodReporter moving forward with a script penned by Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim: Uprising, Black Hole) and Colin Trevorrow along with locking down a release date for summer 2021.

While it isn’t mentioned, Emily Carmichael might also become a potential directing candidate for the sequel as she’s a qualified rising talent who is already planning on shooting a project for Amblin and there have been rumblings of her being linked to the director search for Captain Marvel and might have met with Lucasfilm during their wave of meetings with female filmmakers.
