Tom Hardy Confirms Al Capone Film ‘Fonzo’ Is Next

Tom Hardy (Dunkirk, Inception, Mad Max: Fury Road) has wrapped Venom and is now moving onto his next project. A recent post made by Tom on Instagram seemingly confirms that Fonzo will indeed be that movie.

Omega Underground previously confirmed that filming will begin on April 2nd in New Orleans, Lousiana.

Joshua Trank‘s Fonzo will be a crime drama that’ll see Al Capone suffering from dementia in prison and reflecting on his violent rise to power as Chicago’s mob kingpin. Trank is currently deep in pre-production and was scouting locations last year.
