‘Blade Runner 2049’ Actress Mackenzie Davis Joining Tim Miller’s ‘Terminator’

Variety is reporting that Canadian actress Mackenzie Davis (Black Mirror, Blade Runner 2049) is in negotiations to take a new leading role in Tim Miller’s Terminator alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton.

Interesting enough, Davis had been linked for the Domino role in Deadpool 2.

It’s been revealed the new Terminator film will act as a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day and ignore the last three films launching a new trilogy with a group of brand new characters.

The role of Latina main lead Dani Ramos is still out to actresses as the global casting search continues.

Production is expected to take place over the summer in Budapest, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Paramount has set the film’s release for July 26th, 2019.
