Todd MacFarlane’s ‘Spawn’ Reboot Eyeing May Production Start

We’ve been a little nervous while still curious about Todd MacFarlane‘s directorial debut on the low-budget Spawn reboot setup at Blumhouse.

It sounds like things are moving along as we’ve learned that Todd is hoping to get cameras rolling sometime in May. A location is unknown but there had been talk of a shoot in New York City.

Todd has some lofty casting hopes with talk of Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx as Spawn (Al Simmons) but casting has yet to be made official.

Blumhouse recently wrapped their Halloween reboot in Charleston, South Carolina.
