‘IT: Chapter 2’ Working Title Is A Nod To Joe Pesci In ‘Lethal Weapon 2’

Production on IT: Chapter 2 is expected to take place over the summer and we have a small update to share.

Omega Underground has learned the sequel’s working title during filming will be Drive-Thru. The title seems to be a cheeky nod to Joe Pesci’s foul-mouthed scene from 1989’s Lethal Weapon 2 which was playing at the Derry theatre in the last film.

Jessica Chastain (Beverly) and Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise) are attached to star as casting for the rest of the adults is currently underway.

We revealed a June 18th production start as filming will return to Pinewood Toronto Studios and Port Hope, Ontario, Canada.
