Showtime’s ‘Halo’ Mini-Series Begins Production This Fall

Xbox Entertainment has been trying to get a live-action Halo movie or television series off the ground for well over a decade. A live-action Halo web series Forward Unto Dawn was also released several years ago as well as Halo: Nightfall which starred Luke Cage himself Mike Colter.

Back in January, however, it was revealed that Showtime had picked up the series and president David Nevins spoke with TV Guide to reveal that he has indeed seen scripts for the show. Which is still very much in “active development” at the cable network.

ScreenRant revealed that production on the series will commence this fall.

Omega Underground has also learned production on the series is expected to begin sometime in the fall. Filming locations have yet to be revealed.

Halo will debut on Showtime
