New ‘Men In Black’ Film Lands ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’ and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Concept Artist

Sony is gearing up for their new Men In Black film. We’ve learned that they’re well into pre-production on the film and have hired some impressive art department talent.

A standout is environment concept artist Pete Thompson.

Pete’s credits are mostly MCU films which include Guardians of The Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: The Dark WorldDoctor Strange, along with the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.

Here are some examples of Thompson’s stellar work which should lead to some impressive sets in the new Men In Black film, a comic book franchise known for its excellent production design.

F. Gary Gray (Fate of The Furious, Straight Outta Compton) will direct the untitled film which has Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson reuniting in lead roles.

Filming is set to begin this June in London with scenes expected to shoot in other parts of Europe.

Men In Black has been given a release date by Sony Pictures for June 14th, 2019.
