UPDATE: ‘Pet Sematary’ Filming Moves To Montreal This June and Jason Clarke In Talks

THR has our first casting addition to the Pet Sematary remake as they report that Aussie actor Jason Clarke (Dawn of The Planet of The Apes, Zero Dark Thirty) is in talks to take a leading role.

We also have our own production updates on Pet Sematary as it was eyeing a shoot in Toronto this May but have now set their sights on Montreal and pushing the production start to June.

It’s not terribly shocking as IT: Chapter 2 will be filming in Toronto over the summer and might be helpful to keep some production distance between these Stephen King adaptions.

Paramount has slated the film’s release date for April 19th, 2019.
