‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ Might Be Adding A Character Named Mara – Is It Mara Jade?

ThatHashtagShow has reportedly uncovered some new character listings for Star Wars: Episode IX, one being named “Mara“.

Considering they’re looking for an actress in her 40-50s, this easily suggests that Legacy character Mara Jade Skywalker could end up being this Mara they’re casting.

Without Carrie Fisher’s General Leia the franchise will seemingly be without a matriarch and someone like Mara Jade could fill that role.

Personally, I have my fingers crossed for 57-year-old Oscar-winner Julianne Moore.

Production is set to begin this July at Pinewood Studios with its release date set for December 22nd, 2019.
