With production on Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood set to begin filming in Los Angeles this June, we have a major crew addition to share.
Omega Underground has learned that cinematographer Robert Richardson (Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds) will indeed reunite with Quentin on his next film which is set during the summer of 1969.
Richard has earned Oscar nominations for the last three Tarantino films he worked on.
Also, they’ve hired Avengers: Infinity War and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 art director Jann Engel. She has been a set designer on other large studio films such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Alien: Resurrection, A.I., Spider-Man, and Batman Returns.
The film which is being compared to Pull Fiction will focus on an aging TV actor and his stunt double trying to make their way into films, during the backdrop of the Manson Family murders.
Confirmed cast members include Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Margot Robbie.
There is also talk that Burt Reynolds, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, and Al Pacino are being eyed for supporting roles.
Sony will release the film on August 9th, 2019.
