Guillermo del Toro/André Øvredal’s ‘Scary Stories’ Shoots This August In Toronto

It was recently revealed that Guillermo del Toro‘s feature adaptation of Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark was picked up by CBS Films with Norweigan Trollhunter director André Øvredal set to helm.

We’ve now learned that film is expected to begin shooting sometime this August in Toronto.

Guillermo co-wrote the script and is also producing the horror flick. Toronto has been a home base for del Toro and we suspect he’ll be on the Scary Stories set quite frequently.

A release has yet to be announced but it’s assumed it will be ready for next year.
