Matt Reeves Reportedly Rebooting With ‘The Batman’ – Affleck “Likely” Being Recast

A brief update on the Batman front.

Deadline is reporting that writer and director Matt Reeves’ Batman trilogy will in fact be a reboot and they suggest that Ben Affleck “likely” won’t be back as Bruce Wayne.

It’s something we’ve been hearing for months but this is really the first time this has jumped from the rumormill.

Warner Bros. had been eyeing a start on the film next year but without Affleck they could move sooner than expected.
